July 2018 Dunes Empire, Michigan Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore $25 Park Entry Fee Amazing park on the northeastern shores of Lake Michigan. There are several great hiking trails, breathtaking views, or take the 3.5 mile super steep hike down the dune to the lake and back if you dare!
June 2021 TrailRidge Estes Park, Colorado Rocky Mountain National Park $30 Park Entry Fee Located in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains this park has a lot to offer. Gorgeous scenery, vast wildlife from moose to chipmunks, and the best hiking trails in the world!
July 2021 Disney Anaheim, California Disneyland Park $104-179 per person The first and in our opinion still the best! From the Rise of the Resistance Star Wars Experience, Space and Splash Mountain, and of course the characters and an amazing fireworks show!
July 2021 Zoo San Deigo, California San Diego Zoo $55-65 per person One of the largest and most expansive zoos in the world. They have an excellent collection of animals to be seen, bring comfortable shoes and water – lots of walking and it gets warm!
July 2022 Shuttle Chantilly, Virginia Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Air and Space Museum Free admission, $15 parking fee A true treasure of a museum! We stumbled upon it and were amazed at all of the aircraft they have on display – including the Space Shuttle Discovery.
July 2022 WashingtonDC Washington D.C. National Mall Priceless! So much to see in DC! It requires some planning and a little luck. Highlights were getting to look out the top of the Washington Monument, touring the Smithsonian, and the Lincoln Memorial at night!
September 2022 BigHouse Ann Arbor, MI Michigan Stadium $50-200 per ticket The best sports environment and our highlight every year! Being in a crowd of over 100,000 fans, delicious Cottage Inn Pizza, and of course
